DataPool

What does DataPool mean?

Imagine the DataPool as a central warehouse for your product data. Your datapool contains all Data Source, i.e., the departments of the central warehouse. The master data for individual products such as - title, description, list price, product categories, dimensions, weight, image path, stock level, and more - are then managed in these departments. You can update your master data daily or as needed, and use it for all available interfaces. If you are a manufacturer or a wholesaler, we recommend that you also make your DataPool available to other merchants (customers). They can then work with your data and use it with our already preconfigured or their own interfaces. The DataPool is the data basis for all interfaces. From it all data files (csv, xml, api), which are necessary for data transfer into many diverse shop and sales systems on the Internet, are created.

Import

Wie kann ich Daten ab einem bestimmten Bestand importieren?

Verwenden Sie dazu die IF-Funktion aus den erweiterten Feldfunktionen. Übernehmen Sie die IF-Anweisung in der Spalte mit Ihrer Produkt-ID. Sie fragen dort ab, ob ein Bestand größer X ist. Wenn ja, schreiben Sie die Produkt-ID, sonst nicht. Da man auswählen kann, ob auch Artikel ohne Artikelnummer angelegt werden sollen, lässt sich das damit abfangen.

Where can I find the download link (URL) of an export file?

You can find the link under Interfaces -> Export Settings. Click on the '[Status] button.This link can also be used for external connects or downloads.

eBay

How do I connect "csv4you.com" to an eBay account?

Under "My Account -> Basic Settings", click the "eBay" tab. Scroll down, select an eBay Marketplace, and then click the "Apply for AuthToken" button. This authentication for your eBay account is necessary to transfer product data to eBay via the API (e.g., eBay item attributes).

Do I need the Internal Categories for exports to Amazon or eBay?

Yes, because the assignment of the products to the eBay and Amazon categories as well as most of their product attributes gets effected there. Although product attributes can also be assigned individually to each article, this is often a disproportionate expenditure for many products. Via the category assignment of product attributes, all items automatically assume the attributes of the respective internal category.

How are eBay business policies used?

In the Export Settings of the "eBay Marketplace API" interface, you'll find the section Business Policies on the Other tab. Paste here the names of the business policies from your eBay account for payment, return and shipping. Without them, listing and updating of your products via the eBay API is not possible.

Kann ich in einem Account zwei Ebay-Shops verwalten?

Ja. Im Bereich Mein Konto ->Grundeinstellungen ->eBay können Sie mehrere Verbindungen zu eBay anlegen (Auth Token).
Unter Mein Konto ->Grundeinstellungen ->Datenquellen gibt es die Schaltfläche [ Aktionen ]. Klicken Sie dort auf [ Externe Accounts zuweisen ] und weisen Sie der Datenquelle den passenden eBay-Account zu.

Was ist der Unterschied zwischen den Schnittstellen eBay CSV-Manager und eBay Marketplace-API?

Die eBay Marketplace-API ist eine eigene Schnittstelle, mit der man Produktdaten direkt zu eBay schicken kann. Einzelne oder auch alle Produkte zusammen werden direkt aus csv4you heraus zu eBay übertragen. Rückmeldungen über Erfolg oder Fehler einer Übertragung stellt Ihnen unser System über sogenannte Response-Dateien zur Verfügung. Mit der Schnittstelle eBay CSV-Manager müssen Sie zuerst eine CSV-Datei downloaden und dann auf der Webseite von eBay wieder hochladen, was die Übertragung auf Dauer recht mühselig und zeitaufwändig macht.

Warum kann ich keine Artikel mehr zu eBay senden?

Prüfen Sie in Ihrem Exportprofil im Reiter [ Sonstiges ] die Einstellung Art des Listings. Wenn dort 'Update ...' ausgewählt ist und noch keine Artikel bei eBay gelistet sind, kann das System natürlich nichts finden. Ändern Sie in diesem Fall den Wert auf 'Neu ...' oder erstellen Sie ein weiteres Exportprofil nur für das Neueinstellen von Produkten.

Warum werden Varianten einzeln in eBay gelistet und nicht unter dem zugehörigen Parent?

Ändern Sie im Exportprofil im Reiter [ Varianten ] den Wert Export mit Parents auf 'ja'. Dann sollten Varianten unter ihren Parentartikeln bei eBay gelistet werden.

Warum werden meine Bilder bei eBay nicht aktualisiert?

Hierzu gibt es einen Workaround von eBay (engl.).

Other

Welche Zeichenkodierung verwendet das System?

Unser System arbeitet mit der Zeichenkodierung UTF-8. Falls Ihr System einen anderen Zeichensatz nutzt, sollten Sie diesen in den Export Settings einstellen. Damit wird Ihre Exportdatei in das gewünschte Format umgewandelt.
