The page products shows a list of all products in the active data source. In addition, you can search with specific selection criteria for products. Each record can be edited individually. Simply click on a title!

Category Selection / Search

Category Selection - Lets you choose a pre-selection for the search in the active Data Source . You can search for records in certain categories, in order to edit them specifically. The selection of records with no assignment to any internal category, is also possible ('Products w/o Category Assignment'). Several records can be selected and assigned to a desired category.

Watch out!
The assignment of a record to at least one internal category is an important precondition for exporting your data (including shop categories) later.

Search Term - Enter a keyword or use a filter as follows:

1. Text in square brackets ([keyword]) - looking for the exact text "keyword"
2. New - search for new entries (additions since last import)
3. Unnamed - looking for items without a title

All Products

Have already been records imported or created, you see here a list of your products. Sorting is done via the columns ID, Name, Price or Inventory.

Detail Page

To edit the properties of a single product, either click on the ID, the name or on the [Actions] button. You will be directed to the details page of each product and can edit the individual properties there.

General

• ID, Parent ID, EAN / GTIN, ISBN, inventory, packaging unit, price, old price, MSRP, purchase price, base price, base price unit, base price content, VAT, weight, height, length, width, height, vendor ID, manufacturer SKU, external URL for product, date, text information, (free data fields) and cross-data among others

If you are missing certain fields or columns, you can add them subsequently (separated by data source) by using the function free fields / variations in Data Pool->Preferences->Data Sources. Of course, ideally all content should be imported/ modified using the import function.

Master Data

• Name, Keywords, Descriptions

Category

• Product in internal Category

In case you have imported internal categories (ie categories that you transfer so directly in the data pool) via DATAPOOL->Data Import, you can assign your product here to one of these internal categories. Then, you enter your shop categories for the CSV file under Interfaces->Category Mapping and map them to the internal categories from the data pool. Internal categories should be established in any case when several different CSV files are imported into the data pool and all the records shall be exported via one interface.

• External Category 1-5

These fields are for so called external categories, if you import products with existing category names or category IDs from an external system via DATAPOOL->Import Data. This makes it possible, in a time saving manner, to imort several thousand records with matching (external) category assignments in the data pool. In this case, it is no longer necessary to create internal categories manually and to assign the products from your data pool to them individually.

Tip: You should only work with external categories, when you need to import many records from a large CSV file to then (under Interfaces->Export Settings) convert them into another CSV structure.

Tragen Sie hier die ASIN Ihres Produkts ein oder importieren Sie die Werte.

Jedem Produkt lassen sich individuelle Artikelmerkmale zuordnen. Idealerweise sollte die Zuordnung von Artikelmerkmalen immer zuerst über den Bereich Interne Kategorien erfolgen. Vorhandene Marktplatzzuweisungen erkennen Sie am Länderkürzel in der Liste der Internen Kategorien (z.B. US, UK, DE).

Länderkürzel rot: Marktplatz-ID zugewiesen

Länderkürzel schwarz: Marktplatz-ID und Artikelmerkmale zugewiesen

eBay

• eBay: ID

Tragen Sie die eBay Item-ID für Ihr Produkt und das gewünschte Land ein. Sobald eine eBay-ID hinterlegt ist, lassen sich danach jedem Produkt die eBay-Artikelmerkmale zuweisen (Artikelmerkmale können gebündelt auch im Bereich Datenpool ->Interne Kategorien verwaltet werden). Das Eintragen Ihrer eBay-IDs sollte optimalerweise über den Datenimport erfolgen. In Datenpool ->Grundeinstellungen ->Sonstiges muss außerdem ein gültiger eBay-Token existieren.

Jedem Produkt lassen sich individuelle Artikelmerkmale zuordnen. Idealerweise sollte die Zuordnung von Artikelmerkmalen immer zuerst über den Bereich Interne Kategorien erfolgen. Vorhandene Marktplatzzuweisungen erkennen Sie am Länderkürzel in der Liste der Internen Kategorien (z.B. US, UK, DE).

die Backupfunktion im Datenpool ist für gelegentliche Datensicherungen gedacht. Die dabei erstellte CSV-Datei ist nicht für den Import in Fremdsysteme geeignet! Das Erstellen von Schnittstellen bzw. CSV-Dateien für Ihr System muss über den Bereich Schnittstellen erfolgen.

Produktdaten löschen mit zusätzlicher Bestätigungsabfrage

Diese Option löscht alle Produktdaten des aktiven Datenpools. Möchten Sie nur bestimmte Produkte löschen, markieren Sie die jeweiligen Datensätze (Optionsfelder links).
