- These fields are for so called external categories, if you import products with existing category names or category IDs from an external system via DATAPOOL->Import Data. This makes it possible, in a time saving manner, to imort several thousand records with matching (external) category assignments in the data pool. In this case, it is no longer necessary to create internal categories manually and to assign the products from your data pool to them individually.
